This site is dedicated to the M.A.N (Maschinenfabrik Augsburg-Nürnberg) 8x8 vehicles that were used by the USAF and US Army in the early to mid 1980's.  These were also known as M.A.N KAT II trucks or VFAE 27.365, and model designations M1001, M1002, M1013, and M1014.  I hope this will be a source of information to anyone interested in these trucks.  Additionally, I am including some information I have on Atlas cranes, Rotzler winches and the Holmes wrecker units that were associated with these trucks.  This is a work in progress.  If anyone has information that I should add please contact me.
